Teacher Bio
All Rockland County Branch Classes are taught by Richard Iannuzzi (Contact)
As TaiChi instructor, my passion is creating a safe and sacred space where students are free to study the way of TaiChi without judgment or negativity.
I am strongly committed to transmitting TaiChi in ways that adhere to the core principles, teachings and our lineage.
Students are encouraged with patience, humor and open-mindedness.
I draw on my interest and involvement in Japanese psychology, sports, and Jin Shin Jyutsu, along with my practice of mindfulness and study of physics to provide imagery and a clear understanding of the energy, movements and function of TaiChi.
My training consists of over 4000 hours of class time with my teachers Lenny Friedland, Wolfe Lowenthal
(direct student of Cheng Man-ching and founder of Long River Tai Chi Circle) and Ed Young (senior student of Cheng Man-ching) as well as more than 7500 hours of teaching experience and consistent personal practice since 2001.
